Project plan
🔎 Research
In order to understand our users better, it was required that we visit and interview the users in their natural surroundings.

🎨 Design
Based on the interviews with users we identified key personas, defined the IA and design wireframes.

🤞🏻 Test
An initial beta version was released to the public for testing. On-boarding 1200 athletes, 100 coaches, and 20 institutions.

💡 Redesign
The redesign focussed on the changed business goals, new featured and simplifying complicated flows.
Challenges Faced
1. Understanding the user
Gaining an understanding of the user's environment, psychology and influencers was essential in order to build a product for them.

2. Introducing the platform for first-time users
Introducing India’s first ever sports ecosystem to users was a grueling task. Understanding what kind of content a sports enthusiast are interested in and the mediums through which they consume content was the key to designing a system tailored to their need.

3. Accommodating changing business goals
As features and stakeholders started piling up it was essential that the design scales efficiently to accommodate the changing business goals. Also due to the longevity of the project and constant shift of resources caused design debt which needed to be addressed.
Challenge 1:
Understanding the user
The team spent 4 days interviewing Coaches (Ex-Athletes/Professional players/Injured athletes), Schools and atheletes. In Chennai the team have visited 14 school, colleges, stadiums to conduct the focus groups interviews.
